CureLab Oncology is a Cambridge, Massachusetts-based biotechnology company focused on developing novel anti-cancer biologics. Its lead product, Elenagen, is a plasmid-based vaccine encoding the p62/SQSTM1 gene and is designed to influence tumor grade, remodel the tumor microenvironment, enhance the efficacy of other therapies, reduce chronic inflammation, and stimulate an immune response against tumors. The company has completed international Phase I/IIa trials of Elenagen, reporting safety and signs of clinical benefit, and is advancing Phase II studies outside the United States with plans for Phase II in the US. CureLab also operates CureLab Veterinary, established in 2021 to apply its patents to diseases in dogs, cats, and horses. In 2024, CureLab appointed Dr. Aubrey C. Galloway as chief medical officer. With a lean team, the company positions itself as a clinical-stage biotech enterprise pursuing therapies that mobilize the body's immune defenses against cancer, alongside its veterinary research activities.
