The Creative Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 1954 by Alex Osborn, who argued that everyone has creative potential and can learn to develop it. Based in Scituate, Massachusetts, it offers programming and resources intended to cultivate the mindset, tools, and practices of deliberate creativity. CEF runs the Creative Problem Solving Institute (CPSI), touted as the world's longest-running conference devoted to deliberate creativity. Participants from around the world attend CPSI to learn innovation, change leadership, and related skills to transform their organizations and enrich their lives. In 2026, CEF partnered with World Creativity & Innovation Week to support a nationwide creativity initiative in India.
