CORE Districts is a nonprofit collaboration of major California urban school districts that works to improve student achievement through partnerships and shared learning. Operating as a hub for inter- and intra-district collaboration, it supports superintendent, central office, school leader, and teacher levels to implement and scale effective strategies across districts serving more than a million students. Based in Sacramento, California, the organization brings together nine districts, including Fresno, Garden Grove, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Oakland, Sacramento, San Francisco, San Jose, and Santa Ana Unified, with a long-term aim of ensuring strong support, programming, and educational communities that help students succeed in college and career.
