Ski Cooper is a nonprofit ski resort located just outside Leadville, Colorado. The resort offers five lifts and 64 trails across 475 skiable acres, aiming to provide mountain experiences at prices suitable for families. The team is tight-knit and passionate about skiing, with careful attention to guest experiences both on the slopes and in the surrounding facilities. Profits are reinvested back into the resort and into its staff, reflecting its nonprofit structure. The operation is described as a small to mid-sized venture within the recreational facilities industry, based in Leadville, Colorado. In May 2025 Ski Cooper attended an event related to the 10th Mountain Double Chair, and there is a historical reference to a 1999 proposal to convert that chair into a convertible quad.
