Since 1949, Contra Costa Federal Credit Union ("Contra Costa FCU" or "CCFCU") has been providing affordable financial services to individuals in the San Francisco Bay Area. CCFCU was established in October of 1949 with 34 members and $1,211 in assets. Today, we have $600 million in assets and serve more than 27,000 members from our six (6) convenient branches. Our field of membership includes public employees and select employee groups (SEGs) of Contra Costa, Alameda and Solano counties in the San Francisco Bay Area. We are the premier financial institution for those who serve the public good. CCFCU operates as a not-for-profit financial cooperative; we exist solely for our member's benefit. The profits made by the credit union are returned to the members in the form of high yields on accounts, affordable loan rates, and many products and services without fees. We are fiscally conservative and we judge all services by the criteria "will it benefit our members?"
