The Connecticut Science Center is a non-profit museum complex located in downtown Hartford, Connecticut, focused on advancing science education for residents of Connecticut and the broader New England region. It houses more than 165 interactive exhibits across ten galleries, spanning topics from space and earth sciences to biology, energy, and local innovations, and includes four educational labs and a 200-seat 3D theater. The facility is LEED-Gold certified and operates with an emphasis on environmental sustainability. Since opening in 2009, the center has served more than two million visitors, offering programs and community engagement to learners of all ages. It administers the Mandell Academy for Teachers to provide professional development for educators, and in May 2026 announced a STEM careers partnership with Aetna to broaden workforce opportunities in the state.
