Confreda Greenhouses & Farms is a long-established, family-run farming operation based in Warwick, Rhode Island, with roots dating back to 1922. The company farms more than 400 acres across Cranston and Warwick, making it one of Rhode Island's oldest and largest commercial vegetable farms. Its bedding plant division grows a wide assortment of annuals, vegetables, hanging plants, and specialty products, supplying garden centers throughout Rhode Island and extending up to the New Hampshire border and to Cape Cod. 

In 1997, the Confreda family opened Confreda's Farmer's Market and Garden Center to broaden the business beyond the growing season and to offer a family farm atmosphere. The Market provides fresh produce and plants, along with related planting materials, and includes an ice cream shoppe, bakery, and playground. A café area was added to give customers a space to relax with a beverage or light meal after shopping, while the operation continues to educate visitors about farming, food safety, and nutrition.
