We Offer: We offer a comprehensive range of dermatopathology services, including histology, digital pathology, consulting, and molecular testing. Our dermatopathologists examine skin biopsies, tissue samples, and other specimens under a microscope to identify various skin diseases, including infections, inflammatory conditions, autoimmune disorders, and skin cancers. Board-certified dermatopathologists staff Compass Dermatopathology’s lab (we have a team of dermatology and pathology-trained dermatopathologists) to give you the best combination of expertise in the field. This collaborative approach allows us to evaluate complex cases to ensure patients receive the most appropriate and effective care. Our Dermatopathologists Antoanella Calame, MD is a board certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist and the founder of Compass Dermatopathology. She trained under Dr. Clay Cockerell at UT Southwestern. Dr. Calame is dedicated to the highest level of customer service and quality diagnostic care for her referring dermatologists. Christopher Erickson, MD is a board certified anatomic and clinical pathologist and a board certified dermatopathologist who also trained under Dr. Clay Cockerell at UT Southwestern.
