Community Link - Colorado is a nonprofit organization based in Boulder, Colorado, focused on supporting individuals with disabilities. Founded in 1958 by Boulder County family members, it was established to broaden educational and employment opportunities for relatives with disabilities. The organization is governed by a local volunteer board and directs resources toward services for its customers rather than overhead. It pursues a holistic model that coordinates employment, day activities, and home life to help participants achieve greater independence. In 2016, the board approved a plan to improve Day Services by reducing group sizes in the community to three or fewer and to strengthen connections between employment, day services, and residential supports, in line with federal expectations on choice and integrated settings. The Residential Department serves about 20 individuals in a mix of settings, including host homes, family caregivers, and staffed independent living apartments.
