Community Financial Credit Union is proud of its history in the community. The Credit Union was originally chartered more than 50 years ago to serve the employees at the Rocky Flats Environmental Technology Site. Over the years, membership has grown to include individuals and their family members who live or work in Broomfield and other surrounding communities.

“Cooperative” is an important word in our Vision Statement. At credit unions, no one person or organization runs or owns the Credit Union. Each member is an owner working toward a common goal. The Credit Union is successful, when you are financially successful. By providing superior economic value and sound financial advice, we create a better member experience and stronger financial stability for the Credit Union.

As our vision states, Community Financial Credit Union rewards those who are committed to the cooperative through Relationship Rewards. This program is our way of saying “thanks” to our most loyal members. A component of the Relationship Rewards program is the Member Bonus. For the last five years, the Credit Union has returned more than $1.5 million to its members in the Member Bonus program.
