Community Cycles is a Boulder-based nonprofit formed by bicyclists and supporters to advance bicycle transportation. It recycles, repairs, and refurbishes donated bikes and makes used bicycles available to people in its community, while providing a welcoming space to learn bicycle repair. The organization also educates the public on bicycle safety and advocates for cycling as an affordable, viable, and sustainable mode of transportation and recreation. With a broad member base and a steady volunteer network, it supports a hands-on approach to keeping bicycles accessible and usable in the community.

In addition to its ongoing programs, Community Cycles reported a membership of more than 2,500 and relies on hundreds of volunteers each year. A 2024 initiative involved launching a survey to gather data on the positive impacts of e-bikes in Boulder.
