Co-Operative Studios organizes, instructs, and supervises "studio groups" that jump-starts the careers of actors/actresses, writers, and filmmakers, by helping them develop their professional resume, gain vast industry experience, and leave the process with above-the-line credits or a starring/supporting role in a feature length movie. Candidates participate in every aspect of movie production, from acting and directing to budgeting and editing. As a member of a studio group, you will get hands-on experience with the entire movie making process. You will learn how to scout locations, cast actors, create a business plan, shoot the film, edit the film, and have the chance to distribute your work as a seasoned professional. With this program you will learn the essential skills of acting and filmmaking through building and shooting a feature film from the ground up. The Co-op's instructors will guide you through the pre-production, production, post-production and marketing/distribution stages of filmmaking, and when you are finished you will have created and played a starring or supporting role in your own movie.
