Dr. Lou A. Lichti, psychologist, helps adolescents and adults heal their broken hearts and broken spirits.  She has expertise and extensive training and experience in trauma, PTSD and dissociation. 

    She provides services for adolescents, adults, couples and families.  She works sensitively and colloboratively with persons experiencing depression, anxiety, family conflict, identity, school and other psychological issues. 

    Her philosophy focuses on what has happened to her clients and how to get where they want to be rather than treating what is wrong with them. She integrates this philosophy with a subtle cognitive~behavioral approach and a strong commitment to high ethical principles.  

    After more than 20 years in Hagerstown, Dr Lou has consolidated her practice and is accepting new referrals  in beautiful downtown Frederick.
