Child's Play Touring Theatre is a small performing arts organization based in Chicago, Illinois, founded in 1978. It centers on presenting works created by children, pairing their stories with professional theatre artists to provide a stage where young voices can be explored and valued. Through touring performances and educational programming, the company brings workshops, performances, and residencies to schools and community organizations across the United States to enrich arts curricula. The organization has reached more than 4 million students, educators, and parents, and has presented the original works of over 16,000 young writers.
