The Children's Museum of the Arts (CMA) is a New York City–based educational organization that brings together children and artists to create and share artworks with their communities and the wider world. Founded in 1988, CMA has developed programs aimed at changing how society values young artists by ensuring access to materials and encouragement. All CMA programs are offered at no cost to participants, with the aim of recognizing children as legitimate artists. Based in New York City, CMA serves families and local communities through free programming and partnerships, operating as a small organization with a regional focus. In 2021 the organization expanded its online presence with a free video channel and The Look Make Show, a digital learning resource for child-centered art education, and in 2022 it partnered with the Hudson Square BID to engage NYC families.
