Based in Boston, Massachusetts, the Children’s League of Massachusetts is a statewide nonprofit composed of more than 75 private and public organizations working to improve the well-being of children and their families. It pursues public education and advocacy to expand the availability, accessibility, and quality of needed services for children, youth, and families. Members participate as providers, consumers, advocates, purchasers, and regulators, bringing firsthand insight into the issues facing today’s children and the challenges in meeting their needs.

The league builds coalitions to influence state policy by analyzing the budget's impact on kids, developing needed legislation, and promoting evidence-based practices to improve state programs. It provides peer support for organizational leaders and facilitates resource sharing among community providers and state agencies while conducting public education on foster care and other children's issues. Nationally, it collaborates with the Child Welfare League of America and, in 2024, partnered with Citizens for Juvenile Justice to create a county-level Youth Justice Voter Guide for the elections.
