Grant-Funded Growth CTS recently secured a $1.186M grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. to expand training pathways for preachers using womanist, feminist, and queer wisdom. This funding signals budget tolerance for program expansion, especially in religious leadership and social justice areas, presenting an opportunity to upsell learning platforms, curriculum development, and train-the-trainer programs.

Online Doctorate Expansion CTS launched an online Doctor of Ministry degree in Fall 2023, indicating readiness and appetite for scalable online offerings. This presents sales potential for digital learning infrastructure, LMS enhancements, online student recruitment services, and partnerships with organizations seeking remote theological education.

Social Justice Focus The institute emphasizes social justice, feminist and queer wisdom in its programs. This alignment creates opportunities to pitch partnerships with mission-aligned nonprofits, faith-based social impact initiatives, and grant-funded training programs that require custom content, assessment tools, and community engagement modules.

Strategic Partnerships Recent collaborations with The Gathering, A Womanist Church, and Nevertheless, She Preached suggest CTS is open to multi-organization partnerships. This could translate into co-branded courses, consortium-based continuing education credits, and sponsored research or faculty exchange arrangements.

Growth via Leadership Programs CTS focuses on preparing leaders for the next generation of ministry, offering Masters and Doctoral degrees with campus and online delivery. There is potential to expand executive leadership and clergy training offerings for churches, denominations, and religious nonprofits seeking scalable, accredited leadership development.
