A contemporary loft with a rich history, Chez event space was once the home of the famous Chez Paree nightclub, which occupied the building from the 1930s through the 1950s. The club hosted many of the world’s best entertainers, including Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, and Nat King Cole. Situated two blocks from Michigan Avenue and Chicago’s lakefront, Chez is in close proximity to the Loop, Millennium Park, and Museum Campus. Sixty hotels within a four-block radius of Chez can accommodate out-of-town guests. Designed by internationally recognized architects Krueck & Sexton, Chez provides a versatile space that can be transformed for any occasion. Statuesque columns activate the seventeen-foot-tall interior. An architectural glass staircase leads to a mezzanine overlooking the main floor. Brilliant white brick walls, white drapery and polished concrete floors create an elegant loft aesthetic. Additional features include floor-to-ceiling windows, coat check, a private guest suite, and a catering prep space with a separate entrance.
