Chalet is an architectural design, interior design, and construction firm based in Denver, Colorado. It concentrates on timeless, site-specific design for single-family residences and remodels, drawing heavily from neighborhood and regional vernacular to give its projects a sense of permanence. Operating within the architecture and planning field, the firm combines design and construction practices to deliver integrated projects in a local context.
Interiors are developed in coordination with the architectural design, with mantel and millwork elements echoing the overall theme while textiles, lighting, and furnishings are sourced from various periods to create a layered interior sensibility. The buildings emphasize clean lines and the use of durable, sustainable materials, producing sightlines and backdrops that welcome both traditional and contemporary interior ideas. The firm was founded on the principle that design excellence and best construction practices are inseparable, guiding its approach to projects.
