Founded in 1857, Centrale Lyon ranks among the top ten engineering schools in France. It welcomes over 3,000 students from 50 different nationalities across its Écully and Saint-Étienne campuses (ENISE, its internal school), offering programmes for generalist and specialised engineers, as well as masters and doctoral students. As a member of the Centrale Group, it also has three international campuses. The school’s teaching excellence is underpinned by outstanding research: six CNRS-recognised laboratories, two international laboratories, six global research networks, and ten joint laboratories with industry.
