As a nonprofit organization with projects around the world, we were founded by international peacemaker, Marshall Rosenberg, Ph.D., author of the best selling book, "Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life."

Certified Trainers are not employees of CNVC but independent professionals who sign an annual agreement. They help to sustain the global impact of the CNVC through the work they do, the donations they make to the CNVC, and the support and accountability they maintain for each other at the highest standards established by Marshall Rosenberg.
