Center for Climate Strategies (CCS) provides high-level support for planning, analysis, and implementation of climate, energy, and economic programs, partnering with government and institutional leaders and their stakeholders. Its work aims to align subnational and national efforts across executive, legislative, and private-sector actions, helping organizations design and implement policy pathways and financing mechanisms across all sectors. CCS also offers full-spectrum training, capacity building, and technical assistance to support execution of these programs. By pursuing such work, CCS contributes to advancing climate goals and sustainable energy and economic strategies in the United States and other nations. Based in Washington, DC, CCS has a small organizational footprint focused on collaboration and knowledge transfer. A notable recent development is the launch of a new continuing education course, Resilience, Public Engagement, and Community Problem Solving, completed in December 2025 as part of the Accelerating Research Translation program with George Mason University.
