Merger Opportunity CDA Architects has merged with Onyx Creative, creating a broader, integrated architecture and design firm with enhanced capabilities and a larger regional footprint in Texas and beyond. This presents a clear entry point to sell end-to-end services that combine architecture, interiors, branding, and graphic design for large retail, grocery, and foodservice projects.

Retail and Foodservice Focus The combined portfolio includes multiple industry leaders in retail, grocery, and foodservice, signaling strong market demand in these sectors. Target prospective clients in these spaces with integrated design-build, interior branding, and digital presentation services to differentiate from traditional architectural firms.

Regional Growth CDA brings a strong Texas presence to Onyx Creative, expanding geographic reach. Leverage this regional foothold to pursue new project opportunities with local retailers, grocers, and healthcare facilities seeking nearby, timely design and execution capabilities.

Technology Enablement Utilize the current tech stack including SketchUp, Procore, WordPress, and Squarespace Commerce to offer BIM-ready visualization, project collaboration, and client-facing digital experiences. Position as a tech-forward partner capable of streamlining design-to-construction workflows.

Strategic Leadership Recent leadership movements and ongoing expansions (Managing Director in LA; merger announcement) indicate a growth-focused organization open to partnered opportunities, acquisitions, and multi-market engagements. Target collaborations with mid-to-large clients seeking scalable, multidisciplinary teams.
