The Catholic Education Foundation of Los Angeles is a nonprofit organization that provides tuition assistance to students attending Catholic elementary and high schools within the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Its core aim is to reduce the financial barriers to school choice, enabling financially deserving families to access Catholic education and support students through high school graduation and into college. The foundation operates within the philanthropic fundraising sector, serving families in Los Angeles and neighboring counties, and emphasizes that all donations are directed toward tuition awards. Based in Los Angeles, the organization focuses on improving educational outcomes for low-income students, with a cited track record of high school graduation and college enrollment among its beneficiaries. A notable recent development is a significant gift intended to expand financial support for new students enrolling in Archdiocesan schools across the region.
