The attorneys of Cascadia Disability Law represent individuals on their claims, applications and appeals for disability benefits before the Social Security Administration (SSA) and the Veterans Administration (VA). We represent clients at all phases of the Social Security and VA disability benefits processes - from applications, to reconsiderations, to hearings, and on to appeals in federal court. We are always happy to consult with potential clients and there is never a fee for the initial consultation which generally lasts 30 or so minutes. All attorney fees are contingent per Social Security and Veterans Administration law. For Social Security, the fee is the smaller of 25% or $7,200 of a claimant's past-due benefits (whichever is less.) For Veterans Administration Disability cases, the fee is 20% of any past-due benefits awarded (we are not currently taking on new Veteran Clients - our apologies - we do have solid referrals for Veterans, though).
