OUR HISTORY 
Carpet One By Henry has been a family-owned and operated flooring specialty store 
for over 30 years. Henry Scott opened the original Carpets by Henry store in Greensboro, 
North Carolina in 1976. Henry's reputation for expert installation and his personal guarantee of 
customer satisfaction has guided business growth. In 1998 he made a critical decision 
to expand operations to become a regional leader in retail flooring. He joined 
North America's largest carpet and floor covering buying group, CCA Global Partners, 
thus becoming Carpet One By Henry.
