In 1983, Capstone Builders Inc. began as a subcontractor on framing projects for multiple general contractors. Since 1986, Capstone Builders Inc. has been a licensed general contractor, continuing to work as both a subcontractor and a general contractor. Gaining a broader scope of knowledge and versatility, this allowed a larger magnitude of jobs to be managed as they presented themselves.

Adding another specialty to their list of services Capstone Builders formed their playground installation division in 1989. Installing playground equipment for parks and schools throughout the state, it is now one of the largest licensed playground installers in Louisiana.

Working on hotels, Veaux Carre residents, student housing at Tulane University, and the world known Audubon Institute which includes Audubon zoo, Aquarium of the Americas, Insectarium, and Nature Wildlife has proven to be great experiences.

After hurricane Katrina Capstone Builders renovated more than 32 flooded homes across New Orleans to their original conditions. Many families saw this as a great opportunity to add improvements to their devastated homes. Our team of professionals worked their desired renovations into their plans.
