The California Stormwater Quality Association (CASQA) is a nonprofit organization in the environmental services field focused on advancing sustainable stormwater management to protect California's water resources. It counts a diverse membership of more than 2,000 organizations and individuals, including cities, counties, districts, federal and state agencies, ports, universities, school districts, wastewater operators, water suppliers, industries, and consulting firms, collectively representing more than 34 million people. Since its early days, CASQA has emphasized collaboration with permittees, regulators, and other stakeholders to develop solutions to complex stormwater challenges.

CASQA traces its origins to 1989, when it formed as the California Stormwater Quality Task Force, a quasi-governmental body that advised the State Water Resources Control Board on stormwater regulations and the implementation of federal NPDES mandates under the Clean Water Act. In 2002, the organization formalized as CASQA after attaining 501(c)(3) nonprofit status. Based in Redondo Beach, California, the association serves as an advisor and partner to regulators within the state's stormwater management landscape.
