Fresno State is a public higher education institution that is part of the California State University system, one of the largest higher education systems in the world. The 388-acre main campus and a 1,011-acre University Farm are located at the northeast edge of Fresno, California, at the foot of the Sierra Nevada, in the San Joaquin Valley.
