Calcit is one of the leading producers of calcium carbonate pigments, functional additives and granulates on the European market. Our businesses deliver a broad range of products to customers across Europe, serving key industries such as paper, paints, plastics, glassmaking, pharmacy, agriculture, ecology, construction, and others.

Headquartered in Stahovica, Slovenia, Calcit over the last thirty years gained a significant presence across Europe. It is the second largest European producer of GCC papermaking fillers with a 20% market share, which will be further increased with the new plant in the Netherlands.

The company generates almost 80 percent of its revenue in the paper industry. We employ more than 300 people that acquire some of the best technical, chemical, and manufacturing talent in the industry.

Calcit Group consists of three production plants located in Slovenia, Croatia, and the Netherlands. Calcit also has its own ore deposits in Slovenia and Croatia. State-of-the-art technological equipment, excellent logistics connections and a highly skilled workforce guarantee uniform Calcit's standard at all locations.
