Brooklyn Heights Synagogue is a progressive, lay-led religious community in Brooklyn affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism. It prioritizes inclusive participation and supports diverse expressions of Jewish identity while respecting traditional Jewish heritage. Founded in 1959, the congregation numbers about 500 member units and provides worship services, a K-12 religious school, adult and intergenerational learning, social gatherings, and a preschool and parenting center.
