Briar Creek Farm is a small, diversified farming operation based in Ruffin, North Carolina. Founded in 2016 after relocating from Kokomo, Indiana, it began with open hay fields and wooded land and has grown into a working farm with a residence and outbuildings. The farm currently raises two goat breeds, Myotonic (fainting) and Nubians, and keeps several chicken breeds that provide daily eggs. The poultry are pasture-raised and roam the farm from dawn to dusk, returning to a coop at night. As a local producer, Briar Creek Farm serves nearby customers seeking pasture-raised livestock products. It operates as a small-scale farm in the broader farming industry, emphasizing ongoing evaluation, growth, and a hands-on approach to farming.
