Boyfriend is a lifestyle brand that produces perfumes, candles and pulse point oils. Founded in 2010 and personally financed by actress Kate Walsh, the brand’s signature scent quickly became a top seller at Sephora and HSN. In 2015, as the demands of owning a retail beauty brand became too much for Walsh to handle independently, she put Boyfriend on pause. Due to the level of inquiries from fans requesting that Walsh bring back the original fragrance, the hiatus was short lived. 

In 2017, Walsh partnered up with Digital Media Management to re-launch the Boyfriend brand - this time selling direct to consumer. This new approach of selling directly to the Boyfriend audience allows for more control over testing new products and truly building a demand-based business, while also exploring wholesale partnerships from other product vendors.
