Bohanan’s Prime Steaks & Seafood welcomes you to a new tradition in fine dining. After all, there’s something to be said about tradition – it lasts! At Bohanan’s, this is what we hope to create, a feeling that lasts long past your visit with us. We’ve blended Texas spirit with Old World charm, creating a space that pays tribute to the traditions of the past with a sense of pride. Our building dates from the late 1800s and, at various times, has housed a gentlemen’s haberdashery, shoe store, millinery shop, ladies fine clothier and an architecture firm. In 2002, Mark Bohanan opened the restaurant on the second floor. When the first floor became available in 2008, he was able to fulfill his dream of opening an urban bar with Old World ambience. Now, the interior is resplendent with architectural details salvaged from 18th and 19th Century buildings… the perfect setting for a civilized evening of cocktails and conversation. Like the great old bars of the past, we dispense classic cocktails, exotic beverages and good cheer in a civilized setting. Join us for drinks and hor d'oeuvres downstairs, then come upstairs for the best steak you've ever had.
