Birmingham Country Club is a private, member-focused hospitality club located in Birmingham, Michigan, offering family-oriented dining, social, wellness, and recreational programs. The club sits on 161 rolling acres along the Rouge River, and its 18-hole golf course was designed by Tom Bendelow and has hosted major championships such as the 1953 PGA Championship, the 1968 US Women's Amateur, and the 1984 US Men's Senior Amateur. In addition to golf, the club offers extensive athletic facilities, including a fitness room, six outdoor tennis courts (four hard, two clay), four lighted paddle tennis courts with dedicated clubhouses, and an Olympic-size pool. The Tudor-style clubhouse opened in 1930 and in 2016 underwent substantial renovations as part of a $5 million facilities improvement project to celebrate its centennial.
