It participates in the BirdLife International network, enabling collaboration with international partners on conservation initiatives. The organization has engaged in public awareness initiatives, including naming Bird of the Year for 2024, the Bateleur. Operating with a very small staff, it works within the global conservation network and collaborates with government and other partners through that network.
