Big E Drilling company is an independently owned and operated contract land drilling company with its home office in Bellaire, Texas. Big E Drilling company was started in 1981 by Gerald Eastham with two rigs. By 1988, the company expanded to four rigs, added rigs five and six in 2000 and 2002, and a seventh rig in 2014. Today, operations include Texas gulf coast, east and west Texas, along with north and south Louisiana. Drilling capabilities of the Big E Drilling fleet range to 25,000 feet. These wells are drilled primarily on a day work contract. Big E Drilling company has established an excellent reputation with both major and independent operating companies as a professionally operated organization. The drilling rigs and related equipment are continuously maintained and upgraded. This enables us to operate with a minimum amount of downtime per well.
