Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana is a nonprofit focused on one-to-one mentoring for youth. It collaborates with parents or guardians, volunteers, and community partners to help children reach outcomes such as higher aspirations, greater confidence, and educational success while reducing risky behaviors. The organization relies on a professionally supported mentoring model to support vulnerable children and counter negative life trajectories. Headquartered in Fort Wayne, it serves nine Indiana counties and three Michigan counties through more than 80 program sites and operates as a 501(c)(3). The program serves more than 1,800 youths annually and maintains hundreds of mentor–child matches. In June 2026, the group expanded its footprint with a new office in Auburn, Alabama.
