As a private, nonprofit agency 501 (c) 3, the Safety Shelter of St. Johns County, Inc., dba: Betty Griffin Center, our vision is Peace at home...then the world, our mission is to help survivors of domestic and sexual violence navigate through their life-changing traumas to live on their terms.  We provide emergency shelter and other support services that are available to survivors in residential and nonresidential programs.  Our services include a 24-hour crisis helpline, individual and group counseling, service management, civil legal representation, and court advocacy. Betty Griffin Center provides services to survivors and their families.
