Bethel University is an evangelical higher education institution located in Mishawaka, Indiana, affiliated with the Missionary Church. Since its launch in 1947, it has grown to enroll about 1,500 students from 30 states and 18 countries, with roughly one-third from culturally diverse backgrounds, and it employs more than 250 staff. The university offers undergraduate, graduate, adult and online programs across more than 50 areas of study, aiming to balance rigorous academics with spiritual formation and mentoring. Its mission is to transform communities through Christ-centered graduates, emphasizing strong academics, mentoring and relationships. In 2026, Bethel announced a collaboration with CANOPS and the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Northern Indiana Corridor to launch the Success Academy at Bethel University, an early-learning laboratory classroom model intended to provide high-quality early learning experiences while preparing future educators. The program is scheduled to begin September 23, 2026.
