Beacon Federal Credit Union was chartered as DuPont La Porte Federal Credit Union in March of 1949. In 2005, we were granted a community charter and officially changed our name to Beacon Federal Credit Union in order to better reflect our varied membership base. 
The name “Beacon” underscores our commitment to look out for our members’ financial well-being now, and in the future. Beacon FCU currently has 5 locations and offers a complete selection of convenient and competitive products and services, including a full suite of deposit products as well as mortgage, auto loans, recreational vehicles loans and more.
