Basic Chemical Industries (BCI) is a chemical manufacturer and the largest privately owned chemical company in Saudi Arabia, dating back to 1973. It is 100% Saudi owned and operates from a single site in the Eastern Province that houses its headquarters, manufacturing plant, and main storage facilities on about 200,000 square meters near Dammam's First Industrial City. The company serves the Saudi industrial and consumer markets by supplying high-quality chemical products and pursues ongoing expansion and adoption of new production methods to maintain its position as a leader in the field.

Its customer base includes industrial and consumer sector users within Saudi Arabia that rely on a steady supply of chemical products for their operations. Situated in the chemical manufacturing industry, BCI functions as a long-standing domestic producer with substantial on-site facilities to support scale and reliability. In late 2024 the company announced the opening of a new polyurethane systems manufacturing plant in Saudi Arabia as part of its broader expansion strategy.
