Harbor Boating, Inc. has been moving Baltimore by water since 1975, with 50 years of continuous operation. Best known for Baltimore Water Taxi, we’re reintroducing the original Harbor Boating, Inc. name as the umbrella brand for a full family of on-water services.

What we do today

- Baltimore Water Taxi (On-Demand): App and web-booked, point-to-point rides across the harbor and waterfront for residents and visitors.

- Harbor Connector: A free, City-supported commuter service connecting waterfront communities Monday through Friday.

- Baltimore Water Trolley: A weekend harbor circulator that makes it easy to hop between key waterfront stops.

- Baltimore Water Cruise: Scenic public cruises built for fun, views, and Baltimore stories.

- Baltimore Water Charter: Private events on the water, from corporate outings to celebrations.

- Baltimore Water Service: Maritime support work that helps keep the harbor working safely and efficiently.

What’s new

We’re modernizing the Water Taxi into a true on-demand service, expanding premium charter and cruise offerings, and tightening the operating backbone that keeps our fleet safe, compliant, and reliable year-round. Same harbor roots. Better tools. More ways to ride.
