Our story began in 2008 when Jean-Michel Pitot and his family sought to create something new in the Mauritian hospitality industry. Their vision? More than just hotels—celebrating the island’s culture, caring for the environment, and supporting local communities. Since day one, we’ve made bold choices that reflect this vision—a 100% local experience, removing single-use plastics from the guest experience, and breaking traditional hospitality norms by letting our team express their individuality (yes, tattoos, and beards are welcome at Attitude!).
