Founded in 2005, ASun Star provides services to individuals (adolescent, adult) and families within the home, school, and community. We utilize a strength-based approach and are dedicated to helping our families succeed within their respective community. We strive to help each individual to be “their biggest star” by striving towards their fullest potential and accomplishing goals that they have identified. We specialize in working with at-risk families and individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our Mission is to provide a therapeutic environment inclusive of the children, youth, adults, families and communities we proudly serve. We strive to bring an innovative approach to developing and or restoring a positive sense of self and identity through forward thinking curriculum, positive interactions and advanced technology. Our programs are designed using evidenced supported/evidenced based positive approaches. Our policies and procedures are written in a way to give a voice to every integral part of the organization while providing safety in the delivery of services. Understanding that trauma plays an important factor in everyone’s life, we approach each individual with Positive Behavior Supports which are intertwined in a Nurtured Heart Approach.
