Assistance League® of Indianapolis is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization whose members identify, develop, implement and raise funds for ongoing philanthropic programs to server specific needs of children and adults in the greater Indianapolis area. Philanthropic programs include: Operation School Bell® where qualifying children receive new school clothes, coats and athletic shoes; Assault Survivor Kits® which provides garments for victims of assault; ALI Bears which gives teddy bears to hospitals, trauma centers and hospice facilities; ALI Friends whose mission is offering activities and companionship to older and disabled adults; and OSB Reading Buddies where members share the love of reading to early elementary school children.
