Based in New York City, the Art Dealers Association of America (ADAA) is a nonprofit membership organization that unites the nation's leading galleries in the fine arts. Founded in 1962, the association aims to uphold high standards of connoisseurship, scholarship, and ethical practice within the trade. Its member galleries handle paintings, sculpture, prints, drawings, and photographs from the Renaissance to the present day. The ADAA connects galleries across nearly 40 U.S. cities, providing a professional network that supports credible, historically informed exchange within the market. Historically, the ADAA has organized an annual flagship art fair, the Art Show, with the 2024 edition noted as its 36th and tied to Park Avenue Armory and the Henry Street Settlement. In 2025, reports indicate the organization canceled the 2025 edition and signaled plans to inaugurate a new fair the following year.
