The Arizona Coalition for Military Families, based in Phoenix, Arizona, connects the state\'s 500,000+ military members, veterans, and their families to resources through the Be Connected program. Launched in 2009, the organization is recognized as a national leader for uniting public and private sector partners in service of veterans and military families and for building the infrastructure to sustain statewide capacity to care for them.

Its membership spans local, county, and state government, private companies, healthcare providers, faith-based groups and non-profit partners, who gather each spring for the Arizona Symposium with speakers, breakout sessions, and workshops. In 2017 Be Connected was launched to focus on upstream prevention to reduce veteran suicide, reflecting the program\'s aims within the coalition\'s work. In May 2023 the organization received the Copper Eagle Award for exceptional service and leadership in support of Arizona veterans and their families.
