Ari Burling is an Architectural and Design Photographer based in New York City. His clients include architects, interior designers, developers, construction companies, hotels, magazines, and a wide variety of design related suppliers. As a graduate of Parsons School of Design (1995), Ari has specialized in photographing the built environment for 15 years and his work ethic reflects enthusiasm for the subject and his medium: ‘The great thing about shooting Architecture digitally is that the technology yields an expanded range of possibilities. Architectural Photography has always required the same precision and attention to detail that goes into the Architecture itself, but now the practice is much more dynamic, much more fluid. Every photograph has a distinct set of mechanical parameters-the wealth of digital information allows one to make the make the correct technical decisions yes, but more importantly it affords one a higher degree of freedom to execute creative decisions’.
