Arctaris manages a family of funds focused on investments in inner cities, targeted rural communities and Opportunity Zones throughout the United States.  Launched in 2009 and headquartered in Boston, Arctaris has pioneered an innovative capital structure, blending public capital from federal and state government agencies with private capital from institutional investors, foundations and CRA banks.  The Arctaris team has collectively funded the growth of hundreds of companies, creating or saving more than 6,000 jobs in the manufacturing, services and technology industries.  
 
The firm's 4th fund, the Arctaris Impact Fund, LP (the “Fund”) provides capital to growth-oriented businesses in underserved regions with an emphasis on inner cities and targeted rural communities.  The Fund’s structure is designed to provide above-market returns, liquidity, principal protection and CRA credit (for banks), while also revitalizing underserved communities.  
 
Arctaris and the Fund address a longstanding, systemic capital void for lower- and middle-market companies, exacerbated by the retreat of banks following the global financial crisis of 2008, and the remarkable geographic disparities which emerged in the decade following.  Arctaris invests in the debt and equity of growth-oriented companies in these targeted geographies and aims to generate above-market returns for its investors.
